Linda Miller, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Lemont Nursing and Rehab.Linda was the loving mother of Kelly (James) Miller, Michael (Laurie) Smith, and Michelle (John) Janus; beloved Nanee to Brian (Nina) Miller, Luke (Allison) Miller, Kye Smith, Evan Smith, Noah Janus, Adam Janus, and Amber Janus; adoring great grandmother to Isla Miller, Greyson Miller, Charlotte Miller, and Camille Miller; loving sister of Jerry (Patty) Galamback, Jackie (Jim) Teets, Jon (Jo) Galamback, and Karl (Joanne) Galamback.She is preceded in death by her beloved husband John Miller; and her parents, Karl and Ruby Galamback.Linda was a kind lady that always made anyone she encountered feel loved and welcomed. Her house was the cozy house, that everyone loved to gather at. She loved her family fiercely and cherished spending any time she could with her grandchildren. After retirement, John and Linda loved to spend time at their home in Naples, Florida. Linda was a sweet lady and will be missed by all that knew her.Services for Linda will begin on Thursday, February 15, 2024 with a visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road in New Lenox, from 4pm-7pm. Services will continue the following day, Friday, February 16, 2024 with a visitation at the funeral home from 9am until the time of service at 10:30. Linda will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband John at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
