Linda Darline Montgomery, age 82, of Salem, passed away Thursday, December 4 at St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Mrs. Montgomery was born August 15, 1943, in Lawrenceville, Indiana, the daughter of Glenn Eugene Hicks Sr. and Anna Rae Goff Hicks. Mrs. Montgomery passed her State Board of licensing and received her LPN accreditation in 1963. In 1989, she joined the I.O.E. and in 2005 was hired on at McDonalds. She was preceded in death by her husband: Stanley Wayne Montgomery in 2005, her parents, and a brother: Glenn Eugene Hicks Jr. She is survived by her daughters: Laura Mabry (Paul) of Springdale, Arkansas, Callie J. Montgomery of Salem, and Stephanie Molitor of Fowlerville, Michigan, and 2 grandchildren: Nick and Hannah Villines. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:30PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood.
