LINDA MORRIS
Jackson, TN: Linda Lou Vinson Morris age 78, passed away January 15, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born December 15, 1946, in Enville, the daughter of the late Emmit Clyde and Elouise Ellis Vinson. She attended school in Enville and Henderson. She later made her home in south Jackson where she enjoyed the remainder of her life.
She enjoyed raising parrots, parakeets and loved her aquariums, doing jigsaw puzzles, and watching wrestling. She loved cooking and decorating for the holidays.
Ms. Morris is survived by four daughters, Stacy Blurton (Gary) of Milan, Lisa Bedwell (Jerry) of Pinson, Chrystal Barnes (Daniel) Chester County and Holly Cooke (Nathan) of Medina; eleven grandchildren, Amanda Cagle, Logan Blurton, Corey Bedwell, Brandy Bedwell, Jessica Fullington, Tanner Newman, Cassie Newman, Kyler Barnes, Trinity Barnes, Sydney Cooke, and Masen Cooke and nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny Vinson of Chester County and James Vinson of Enville; three sisters, Barbara Ann Patterson of Chester County, Vickie McCormick of Chester County and Rose Vinson of Madison County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Dennis Randall Fullington, two brothers, Larry Vinson and Ricky Vinson; a sister, Clara Phillips; and her partner of thirty-seven years, Herbert ‘Rep’ Replogle, Jr.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 19th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Anthony Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Cabo Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday and 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday.
