Linda Lou Morris, RN, BSN, CRNI, born 01/05/1940 to Richard and Thelma Hughes in Waynesburg, Greene County Pennsylvania.
Linda married Ronald Morris 02/12/1959. She graduated from Allegheny College of Nursing in 1960 and received her bachelor’s degree in 1990 from Carlow College. Linda was a published member of LITE (League of IV Therapists). They lived in Washington PA until 2003 when they relocated to Crestview FL. Family came to help her move and found items in the freezer that were 20 years old. She sewed clothes for the kids and was always canning or freezing something. Linda joined the extension office and got her Master Gardener’s Certificate. Plants everywhere in the house and many outside.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Ronald and is survived by her sister Janice Hughes Goaziou; children: Richard Morris, Deborah Morris Douglas, grandchildren: Valerie Morris, Samantha Morris Henderson, Eric Venable, Cristi Venable and Sarah Douglas. Linda has 7 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services are to be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, 05/21/2025 at 11 AM with no graveside services. She will be interred at Barrancas National Cemetery next to Ronald Morris.
