Mrs. Linda Robinson Newby, age 87, of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, February 21, 2026. She was born November 05, 1938, in Gallatin, Tennessee, was retired as the manager of the Information Systems Department at Ben Lomand Cooperative and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was awarded the Business and Professional Women's club 'Woman of the Year'. Linda was a walking horse enthusiast and an avid bowler. She continued in Peggy Witt's footsteps and ran the special needs adult bowling league known as "Peggy's Rollers & Bowlers". She was preceded in death by her parents William Ralph and Dorothy Florence Goad Robinson, husband of nearly 70 years Malcom James "Jim" Newby, son James Russell Newby, brother Larry Robinson, and sister Stephanie Craven.

Survivors include her children Jacqueline (David) Bouldin and Tracey (Stan) Pickens, daughter-in-law Tamra (Brent) Pryor, grandchildren Dave (Shehara) Bouldin, Angela (Jaime) Barraza, Christopher (Jamie) Bouldin, Laura (Michael) Gibson, Jacob Newby, Jessie Newby, Jenna Newby, Cindy (James) Saldana, and Casey (Kaylan) Myers, and seventeen great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Linda Newby is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 24, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. J.T. Jordan will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation with the Newby family will be held on Monday from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at McMinnville Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Peggy's Rollers & Bowlers or to the local Operation Christmas Child Box program.
