Linda Thigpen Noel

Mrs. Linda Thigpen Noel, age 78 of Charles Street, Toccoa passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
A daughter of the late William Bartow Thigpen and Lesterline Kitty Turner Thigpen, she was born in Alma, Georgia, having lived in Savannah and Statesboro before moving to Toccoa in 1998. She was retired from Western Union as an Administrative Assistant. She loved to travel all over the United States, loved playing games with her family and was very creative with art, writing and quilting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband of the home, Douglas Noel; daughter, Stephanie Newton of Statesboro, Georgia; son, Stephen Noel (Mickey Quesenberry) of Martin, Georgia; grandson, Christopher Hodricki (Taylor); great-granddaughter, Ellison; sister, Alaine Daniel of Savannah, Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Carl Scott Newton.
Her wishes were to be cremated. The family will have a private service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate prayers for their family during this difficult time.
