Linda Fox Nordgren, a beacon of inspiration and guiding light, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025. Born on April 23, 1961, in Rathfarnham, Ireland, Linda's infectious energy and unyielding spirit were evident from the start. She brought joy and determination into every room, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
Linda's life was one of remarkable achievement and unwavering dedication. She spent an illustrious 44 years in the grocery industry where she was not only a leader but also a cherished mentor to many. Linda's career culminated in her role as the respected proprietor and CEO of Encore Associates, where her vision and expertise left an indelible mark on the industry she loved so dearly.
Family was the cornerstone of Linda's world. She is survived by her loving husband, Brent Nordgren, and their two sons, Bryce and Björn Nordgren, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience. Linda's memory will also be cherished by her brothers, Paul and Ian Fox, who stood by her side throughout her incredible journey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Ailish Fox, and her brother, Phil Fox, who no doubt welcomed her with open arms.
Linda's zeal for life extended beyond her professional accomplishments. She was a woman of many passions. She could be found tending her garden, or taking her family to Warriors games. Her radiant smile and effortless story telling were a source of comfort and strength to her family, friends, and colleagues.
A Mass in celebration of Linda's life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 11555 Shannon Avenue, Dublin, California. The service will reflect the love and reverence we all hold for Linda, honoring her memory in the most fitting way. As we gather to bid farewell, we will share stories, laughter, and tears, remembering a life lived to the fullest.
In her passing, Linda leaves behind a legacy of love, leadership, and generosity that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Her spirit will forever be woven into the fabric of the community she served and the family she adored.
