Linda Gail Pace age 69 of Rose Hill, VA. passed from this life on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Linda was a caregiver for several members of the community. She worked as a cook at Western Sizzlin in Harlan, KY. for several years. Linda was an avid reader, enjoyed making jewelry, and going to Goodwill even when there were tornado warnings. Linda lived her life with joy making memories with her family.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Pace, mother Wilma Smith Hamlin, father Howard Hamlin, and loving mamaw & papaw Bonnie and Floyd Hamlin.

Linda is survived by her brothers, Virgil and Arnold Hamlin, sisters, Nadine (Roger) Hafemeister, Tammie (Aaron) Sapleton, and Macy (Dorman) Cooper. Linda is also survived by her special Aunt Dora Fee as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service in Linda's honor will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 6th at the Long Family Cemetery old Arthurs Chapel Church 1468 Mountain Springs Road Rose Hill, VA. 24281 with Rev. Aaron Stapleton, Rev. Doug Daniels, and Rev. Stephen Daniels officiating.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Lee Health and Rehab for their care of Linda through her illness.
