Linda S. Pavlicek peacefully passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on June 16, 1953, in Victoria, Texas, to Dorothy Smolik Nordloh and William J. Einkauf.

Linda graduated magna cum laude from Victoria High School in 1971. She married Jerry Pavlicek on June 26, 1971. Linda worked part-time at Schlumberger Well Services for five years before becoming a full-time employee in 1974, ultimately retiring after 40 years of service as Regional Senior Clerk. Her faith was significant to her, and she was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Linda cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, making an effort to attend all extracurricular activities, including volleyball games, dance recitals, band concerts, and baseball games. She had a passion for watching the Astros.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Smolik Nordloh and William J. Einkauf; her sister, Diane Staha; her brother, Billy Einkauf; and her stepson, Troy Tait.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Jerry Pavlicek; her daughter, Melinda Barkhurst, along with her husband, Neal; her daughter-in-law, Shari Tait; her grandson, Aaron Weiser, and his spouse, Sheridan, along with their two children, Canton and Madilyn; her granddaughter, Sarah Mayes, and her spouse, Michael, along with their two children, Cora and Dean; her granddaughter, Brittney Alcaraz, and her husband, Jarod, along with their two children, Attie and Zoe; and numerous cousins whom she cherished dearly.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a rosary to be recited at 10:00 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Victoria, Texas. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

The pallbearers honoring Linda will include Aaron Weiser, Michael Mayes, David Schoenfeld, Bob Einkauf, William Pavlas, and Jarod Alcaraz.

Memorial donations may be directed to Holy Family Catholic Church.
