Linda Pinkstaff, 76, of La Porte passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026 at her home.
She was born on March 17, 1949, in Gary, IN to Richard Walter and Katherine Lazelere.
Linda worked in administration and business for Dr. Daniel Fridh for 41 years. She loved to garden, work in the yard, traveling and she adored pets.
Surviving is her son, Bruce (Marissa) Pinkstaff; grandson, Mason Pinkstaff; special friend, Anita Phillips; brother Herbie Williams; sisters, Luella Biggerstaff, Nell Martiny, Marcella Mitchel and Connie Robinson; many nieces, nephews and friends; as well as her special furry friend, Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa Pinkstaff; brother, Roy Larzelere; sister, Judy Melvick.
Cremation has been selected. Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave, La Porte, (219) 362-3333 is caring for the arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and her final resting place will be in Montana.
