LINDA D. PONYICKY (nee Hocevar), age 76 of Avon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Gene; loving mother of Matthew Wisz (Tammy); dearest grandmother of Jessica Singer (John) and Matty Wisz; great-grandmother of Johnny, Hannah, Christopher, Savannah and Charleigh; daughter of the late Bernard and Lois Hocevar; sister of Mary and the late Richard and John Hocevar; dear aunt of Steven Hocevar, Renee Hocevar, Miranda Hocevar, Jim Bierman (Colleen), Michael Bierman (Brandy) and Melissa Bierman; great-aunt of many. beloved friend of Muffin. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Linda at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2025 from 12 noon – 3 p.m. with a concluding prayer at 3 p.m.
