Linda Carol Pritchett

Mrs. Linda Carol Pritchett, 80, of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023, at her residence.

She was born June 16, 1943, in Bristol, Tenn., to the late Elmer Lee Draper and the late Helen Virginia Thomas Draper.

She was a member of the Albany Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was a teacher and assisted her husband as a bookkeeper in his optometry practice.

She is preceded in death by brothers, Roy Draper, Ernest Draper and Doug Draper; and one sister, Marie Jones.

She is survived by loving husband, Dr. J. Larry Pritchett; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott (Leigh) Pritchett, of Woodstock, Chad (Karen) Pritchett, of Americus, and Mark (Allison) Pritchett, of Ellijay; brothers, David Draper, of Kingsport, Tenn., and Garry Draper, of Ooltewah, Tenn.; sisters, Martha Wilkerson, of Kingsport, Tenn.; Gloria Ake, of Lantana, Texas, and Sandy Hill, of Indian Wells, Calif.; and grandchildren, Tanner Pritchett, of Americus, Riley Pritchett, of Woodstock, Kate Pritchett, of Americus, Rad Pritchett, of Woodstock; and special caregivers, Christina Addie and Briana Stanley.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Rollin Hixson officiating.

Interment was in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
