Graveside services for Linda Hearne Redmond, 81, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Chatham, Louisiana. Pastor James Hearne will be officiating.

Linda was born on March 12, 1944 in West Monroe and passed away on October 2, 2025 at her residence. Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Mack Redmond; son, Lanny Redmond; father, Stacy Hearne; mother, Maggie Griggs Hearne; and brothers, James Bogie Hearne and S. A. Hearne.

Linda is survived by her sons, Stacy Redmond, Tim Redmond and Chris Redmond; grandchildren, Lynn Savell, Leeann Milling, Jill Redmond, Brandon Redmond, Pattie Moore and Michelle Redmond Rowell; great-grandchildren, Maggie Redmond, Anna Savell, Levi Savell, Britley Mast, Aly Milling, Brady Milling, Luke Redmond, Caden Rowell, Caylee Rowell and Cami Rowell; many nieces, nephews and cousins; along with other cherished family and friends.

Honoring Linda as pallbearers will be Chris Redmond, Brandon Redmond, Levi Savell, Riley Redmond, Roger Hearne and Bubba Hearne. Honorary pallbearer will be Phil Hearne.

Linda was an EMT at the Rocky Branch Volunteer Fire Department for many years and was known there as "Lil Doc" because of her amazing skills. Linda was very protective of her family. She was very loved by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who knew her as "Granny". She was an amazing pie maker, a great cook and was well known for her legendary lasagna. Majority of the time, you would find her crocheting or quilting with a yorkie or two in her lap.
