Linda J. Richards

Linda J. Richards, 77, of Black Lick, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born March 19, 1947, in Bentleyville, a daughter of the late Anthony and Erma Grable Sicchitano. Linda was a 1965 graduate of Bentworth High School. Mrs. Richards was a member of River of Life Christian Fellowship Church in Ellsworth, where she taught Sunday school for many years. A homemaker, Linda was very family oriented. She loved her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She enjoyed baking and cooking, having been a cook at YES Camp, a Christian youth camp, for many years. Surviving are four children, Brian Richards (Kim) of Colorado Springs, Colo., Theresa Combs (Tim) of Bentleyville, Lisa Martinez (Eric Reffo) of Black Lick, and Tammie Lowden (Justin) of Donora; 11 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; three siblings, Ron Sicchitano (Kathy) of Bentleyville, Barbara "Bobbie" Sicchitano (Pat Gibson) of Jefferson, Bradley Sicchitano (Flo) of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are her husband, Calvin Richards; two sons, Ed Richards Sr. and Michael Richards; three siblings, Anthony "AJ" Sicchitano, Cheryl Sicchitano and Patricia Richards. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 28, in Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, with Pastor Paul Mitchell and the Rev. Joe Lukich officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery.
