Linda Roberts Pruett Obituary
Linda Roberts Pruett, age 80, of Forest City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, October 16, 2023 at Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home.
Linda was born Tuesday, December 29, 1942 in Cleveland County to the late Otha Roberts and Lillie Mae Edwards Roberts. She was a graduate of Cool Springs High School, class of 1962. Linda was a faithful member of Florence Baptist Church. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved cooking for and taking care of her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent Roberts and a granddaughter, Lindsey Robbins.
Those left to treasure her memory include her loving husband of fifty-six years, Glenn Pruett; daughters, Ronda Pruett of Forest City and Michelle Bumgardner (Barry) of Rutherfordton; grandchildren, Jill Robbins, Ryan Bumgardner (Hilari) and Hunter Bumgardner (Lane); great grandchildren, Jamison Robbins, Cohen Bumgardner, Charley Kate Bumgardner and Dutton Bumgardner.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 20th at Florence Baptist Church with Reverend Daniel Selman officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to Florence Baptist Church Building Fund, 201 S. Broadway, Forest City, NC 28043.
