Her best friend of 30 years Donna Bridgman of Titusville Fl was a constant source of comfort and companionship to Linda's last day.

Linda's passion for sports inspired countless lives, from her days as a avid softball player on the Women's league at the Marina Fields in the 70's and 80's to coaching and mentoring young girls including her daughter (Liz) as an NBYSA coach. You could always find the Real/Forgey family at the ball field. Her love for the Yankees Baseball was strong, long lasting, and evident, she never missed watching their games.
