Linda Safford, age 80, of Worthington, OH passed away on Easter Sunday March 31, 2024. Preceded in death by parents, Arthur Amick and Erma Amick. Linda was born May 1, 1943 in Pensacola, FL. She graduated from North High School and earned a Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University, where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Her Master's degree was from Xavier University. She was a teacher in the Columbus Public Schools for 32 years. Linda is Survived by her husband John, her brother and sister-in-law James and Margaret Amick, brother-in-law Robert Safford, sister-in-law Margaret Safford and nieces and nephew. At Linda's request, there will be no service. Family will receive friends at Shaw- Davis Funeral Home 4341 North High Street, Columbus OH 43214 on Friday April 5, 2024 from 4pm to 7pm. Interment of cremated remains will be held in a private ceremony at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cat Welfare: 741 Wetmore Rd, Columbus OH 43214.
