Linda Marie Sannes, age 72, of Adrian, MI, passed away at Hampton Manor in Adrian, on June 26, 2025 under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. She was born on September 27, 1952, in Tecumseh, MI, the daughter of Don Edward and Betty Irene (Kossey) Hannah. She was joined in marriage with John William Sannes on May 16, 1998 in Tecumseh, MI, and they enjoyed over 27 years together.
Linda was employed for thirteen years at DST in Clinton, MI, before working in the delicatessen area at County Market in Adrian, MI. She was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Adrian, MI. Outside of work, Linda enjoyed bowling and planning and going on vacations. She was especially fascinated by lighthouses and looked forward to visiting them whenever possible.
In addition to her husband, John, Linda is survived by her step-son Jonathan Sannes of Adrian, MI; step-daughter, Beth Anne Sannes of Trenton, MI; siblings, Nancy Andrus, of Tecumseh, MI, Chuck ( Karen) Hannah of Levering, MI, Jackie (Mike) Allshouse of Harrison, MI, Tom (Vicki) Hannah of Monroe, MI, Jeff (Jessyca) Hannah of Manchester, MI, and Jim (Sherrie ) Hannah of Tecumseh, MI.; and several grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sandy Sisty.
Visitation for Linda will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 2:00 pm -4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Joel Sarrault, will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 30, 2025 at the funeral home, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh, MI.
