Linda was my co-worker - she was the student counsellor and I was the school nurse, so we often worked together and enjoyed helping the students at Roosevelt and Stephen Decatur Middle Schools. What I most remember is Linda's energetic and reassuring smile. To sometimes express delight, she would say, "Yippee Skippee.!" After I moved away in my retirement, I have often borrowed Linda's words from those memories, and always think of her when I do. It was this week when I was especially thinking of her and was saddened to learn of her passing. My condolences to her family (of whom she was so proud), and may she always be our "Yippee Skippee!" May wonderful memories warm your hearts as you celebrate Linda´s life. I knew her as a friend, a classmate, and a coworker, and shared many fun experiences with her, and both of you, over the years. It doesn´t seem that long ago we were dancing and laughing together at our class reunions.
