Linda Dominy Seagroves, 71, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Sunday, December 14, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Blane Jacobs officiating. Eulogies will be given by Jimmy Dominy and Brandy Davis. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 PM in the sanctuary on Sunday.

Mrs. Seagroves was born April 1, 1954, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late James Edmund "Ed" Dominy and the late Patty Ann Wilson Sisk. She was a 1971 graduate of D. M. Therrell High School in southwest Atlanta and attended technical school. She married at the age of 18 and she and Billy moved to Fitzgerald shortly after. She worked briefly for Dr. Maris and was a phlebotomist in the lab at Dorminy Medical Center. For over 20 years, Mrs. Seagroves worked with Dr. McIntyre and Drs. Cook at Colony Dental Care until her health caused her to retire. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed visiting the beach. She was Lulu to her grandchildren and attended every sporting event and special occasion that she could, always proud of all they accomplished. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fitzgerald.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Billy E. Seagroves of Fitzgerald; daughters and sons-in-law: Brandy Seagroves Davis & Jason of Irwin County and Christa Seagroves Garner & Jared of Fitzgerald; her beloved grandchildren: Wilson Davis, Caroline Davis, Wes Garner, and Livvy Garner; a brother, Jimmy & Kristina Dominy of Canton; brother-in-law, Floyd & Edith Seagroves of Fitzgerald; sister-in-law, Marilyn Seagroves of Rincon; nieces and nephews: Jenna & Kuba Puszczykowska, Michael & Michelle Seagroves, Steve & Maleah Seagroves, and Toni & Jeff Colbert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jerry Dominy.

The family suggests those desiring to send memorials may send them to First Baptist Church of Fitzgerald, P.O. Box 367, Fitzgerald, GA 31750.
