Linda Sinkovich Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home - Boardman/Youngstown on Mar. 26, 2026.
North Lima - Linda Jean (Maloney) Sinkovich, 74, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at her home, surrounded by family, after a battle with cancer.

Linda was born in Youngstown on November 21, 1951, the eldest daughter of the late Merle and Della (Juillerat) Maloney. Linda married the love of her life, Joe Sinkovich, on July 18, 1970, and they resided and raised their family in North Lima.

Linda was a ray of sunshine in every room she entered. She enjoyed taking care of her home and taking care of others, making sure they were happy, especially her beloved granddaughter, Leia. She loved spending time with Leia, including swinging on the porch swing.

Linda leaves behind many loved ones: her beloved husband, Joe Sinkovich; her son, Joe (Michelle) Sinkovich; and the light of her life, granddaughter Leia Elizabeth Sinkovich.

She will also be greatly missed by her sisters, Brenda Sheffler and Rose Thomas; her brothers, George Maloney Jr. and Michael (Kim) Maloney; her many nieces and nephews; and every other person who knew her as Nana-she loved all with a whole heart.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Clark and Phyllis Rush.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman.
