On July 16, 2024, Linda Ann Smith peacefully passed away at her home in Lincoln, DE. She was 69.
Linda was born in Passaic, New Jersey on November 29, 1954, to the late John and Olive Liccardo.
She graduated from Clifton High School in 1972.
Mrs. Smith worked as a Title Insurance Policy Administrator for the Title Company of New Jersey and for Victorian Abstract Title Company.
She had a deep love for children in unfortunate circumstances and donated to many children's help organizations and other charities. She brought in several groups of troubled teens into her home and helped them get back on their feet and finish their education.
Linda is survived by her husband of 37 years, James T. Smith, Sr. She is also survived by her children, James T. Smith, Jr. and his partner Theresa Spaventa, and Brandon M. Smith, and her grandchildren, Hailey Rose Smith and Jesse James Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, 8/11, 4pm at Rogers-Hovatter Funeral Home.
