Thomas V. Carcanague

Thomas Vincent Carcanague, 83 of Dover, Delaware, passed away on February 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Darby, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Robert and Hannah (nee Inglesby) Carcanague.

Tom was the beloved husband of 58 years of Margaret (neeMcCarron) Carcanague.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer, and his brother, Richard.

Loving Father of Danielle (nee Carcanague) McCready (Patrick). Proud Grandfather of Jason (Lacy), Joshua (Vanessa) Kayleigh, and Alexis. Great-grandfather of Damien, Ellie, and Hendrix. Dear Brother of Regina Carol Brady, Robert Jr., and Sister-in-Law Barbara. Also survived by Bob and Irene Green and many nieces and Nephews.

He graduated from West Philadelphia Catholic Boys High School with the class of 1960. Tom was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1963 to 1966 as a Military Police officer in Alaska.

He is a retired union carpenter from the Eastern Atlantic States and retired from

Eastern Airlines as a customer Service agent. He had his small plane pilot's license. Loved traveling, building model boats, and airplanes. Joining friends to play cards, bingo, and games.

Graveside Service for Family will be held at Veterans Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, Delaware.
