Linda Kay Snyder

Linda Kay Snyder, age 77, of the Lick Run community, Buckhannon, died Friday, September 19, 2025, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon. She was born on July 10, 1948, at Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Asa Orton Sayre and Evelyn Marie Gillispie Sayre Wilson. On October 17, 1969, she was united in marriage to Gerald N. Snyder, who survives. Also surviving are one son Jamie R. Snyder of Buckhannon; three grandchildren: Ryan, Sarah, and Kiley; one brother Eugene Sayre and wife Kimberly of Buckhannon; and her stepfather Arthur Carol Wilson of Selbyville. Linda was a member of the Good Hope Tabernacle. She had been employed by Central National Bank, Moore Business Forms, and the Upshur County Board of Education, in addition to owning and operating Snyder's Ceramic Shop beside her home. The family will receive friends at the Good Hope Tabernacle on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 5-7:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM. Private interment will be made at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
