Linda Sue Stewart Kesner, 62, a resident of Maysville, passed from this life Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Grant Memorial Hospital.
Linda was born Tuesday, September 24, 1963, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Clem Stewart and Lavada Smith Stewart. On November 6, 2004, at The Refuge Church, she was married to Ricky A. Kesner who survives. They had celebrated twenty years of marriage.
Also left to cherish Linda's memory is one daughter, MaKayla Lofton and husband, Timothy, one son, Zack Kesner, two brothers, Joe Stewart and Tom Smith, one sister, Barbara Stewart, five grandchildren, Alaska, Dallas, Kinsley, Jax, and Noah, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was one brother, Clem Stewart, Jr., one sister, Patty Haney, and a special aunt and uncle, Owen and Juanita Smith.
Linda was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1983 and had worked as a truck driver for over forty years. She participated with the Tucker County 4-Wheelers and enjoyed racing, hunting, trucking, and fishing. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had attended The Refuge Church.
Visitation will be held at The Refuge Church in Gilman on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 12pm until 2pm, the funeral hour. Rev. Kevin Gainer will officiate, and Linda's request for cremation will be honored.
