Roger McDonald Obituary
Roger was born Wednesday, October 7, 1953, in Elkins, a son of the late Raymond McDonald and Lonie Thompson McDonald.
Left to cherish his memory are six children, Nicole Crites of Coalton, Jessica McDonald of Elkins, Maranda Gray and husband Marvin of PA, Tiffany Bonnell of VA, Roger McDonald Jr. and wife Debbie of Elkins, Amber McDonald of Elkins, grandchildren, MaKayla Crites and companion Brandon Hedrick, Shyann Fenstermacher, Isabella McDonald, MacKenzie Crites, Caleb McDonald, Isaiah White, Tayla Crites, Dominic and Jacob Woods, Allie and Landon Crites, Leelynn McDonald, Ava, Aiden, and Jasmine Bonnell, three great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Brycen Hedrick, and Aurora McDonald.
Preceding Roger in death besides his parents were three brothers, Robert, Johnny, and William "Bugs", one son-in-law, Ronald "Ronnie" Crites.
Roger was a graduate of Elkins High School. He was employed and retired from the CSX Railroad. After his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver for WV Paving, Custom Paving, and Elkins Builders Supply. He loved hunting, fishing, and farming. Roger also enjoyed riding his Harley.
