Linda Strubbe, age 72, of Pelican Rapids, MN, died on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Pelican Valley Senior Living, Pelican Rapids, MN.
Linda Rose was born on October 23, 1951, to Clarence and Gladys (Haugtvedt) Berg in Pelican Rapids, MN. She grew up in rural Barnesville, MN, and attended Pelican Rapids High School, Pelican Rapids, MN. She worked at Good Samarian Center as a Nurses Aide. She also worked at Pelican Valley Senior Living as a CNA.
Linda was united in marriage to Lynn Strubbe on March 16, 1985, at Faith Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids, MN. Linda and Lynn owned and operated a resort on Franklin Lake for many years until 1992 when they retired because of injuries.
Her family was important to her, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved her flowers, playing whist and other card games, cooking, and baking. She was a very hard worker.
Linda is survived by her loving husband Lynn; children: Lisa Reyes (Thomas Gabel Jr.), Scott “Butch” Rice (Lisa Moe), Rick Strubbe, Carie Strubbe (Chad Canton); grandchildren: Taylor Rice, Kayla Reyes, Casey Canton; brothers: Donnie Berg, David (Kathy) Berg, Richard (Linda) Berg, Clark Berg; sisters-in-law: Gaylene Berg, Darlene Berg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roger and Charlie, son Alan.
Visitation: Friday, November 17, 2023, from 9:00-10:00 am at Larson Funeral Home in Pelican Rapids, MN.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 17, 2023, at Larson Funeral Home in Pelican Rapids, MN with Pastor Alex Ohman officiating.
Interment: West North Immanuel Cemetery, rural Pelican Rapids, Minnesota
