Linda Dozier Tanner, age 76, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed away on December 20, 2025. Linda was born on February 15, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Herbert and Estella Dozier. She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Glenda Dozier.
Linda worked for many years with the Lonoke School District in the cafeteria, where she was known for her dedication and kind spirit. She loved to cook for her Family, especially during the Holidays. Linda also enjoyed shopping, going to the beach, and watching Arkansas Razorbacks basketball and football games. She loved her nieces and nephews dearly, and family was always her top priority. Linda was a light in every room she entered- always wearing a smile and bringing laughter and joy to everyone she met, whether friend or stranger. Most importantly she loved going to church and was a faithful follower of Christ.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Mary Ann Smith of Lonoke, Arkansas; her son, Gary Tanner and wife Stephanie of Bryant, Arkansas; siblings Joy Dean Hensley, Jerry Dozier, both of Lonoke, Arkansas, Ben Dozier of Spanish Fort, Utah, Herbert Dozier of Cabot, Arkansas and Nina Davis of Ward, Arkansas; grandchildren, Rylee Adams, Davis Tanner, Brooks Tanner all of Bryant, Arkansas.
Visitation will be 1:00pm, Saturday, December 27, 2025, with funeral service following at 2:00pm at the Lonoke Apostolic Church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
