Linda Thompson Obituary
She was born on December 26, 1945, in Robinson, Illinois to David Russell and Nina Ruth (Garrard) Thompson.
Linda attended Loogootee Christian Church, where she was baptized. She worked as a nighttime hotel manager in her younger years. Linda loved her family and will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her son, David (Swampy) Fox, her mother, Nina Russell, her father, David Russell Thompson, stepfather, William Russell, stepbrother, Billy Russell, step- sister, Rita Russell, and brother-in-law, Don Leatherman.
Linda is survived by her son, Michael (Lisa) Fox of Loogootee, Indiana, brother, Gary Thompson of Jacksonville, Florida, sister, Melody Leatherman of Loogootee, stepsister, Cindy (Butch) Bridges of Bedford, stepbrother, Tom and Amy Russell of Washington, 4 Grandchildren, 11 Great- Grandchildren, 3 Great- Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen according to her wishes. She will be laid to rest at Goodwill Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
