Linda Fisher Tracy peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 26, 2021 due to complications of Parkinson’s disease. She was surrounded by cherished members of her family at the time of passing. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, David.
She is also survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law: Scott Tracy and Radha Chandra of Berkeley, CA, Gregory and Donis Tracy of Winthrop, and Keith and Karyn Tracy of Pembroke.
She was the proud “Grandma” to 12 grandchildren: Carmen Hinebaugh and her husband Connor, David and his partner Katie Journeay, Mark and his wife Catherine, Julia, Stephen, Maria, Daniel, John, Michael, Sarah, Kyle and Lauren. She shared in their many and varied experiences in drama, music, academics and athletics.
She rejoiced in becoming a great grandmother with the birth of Eliana Rae to Carmen and Connor in July 2021.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Leon “Sonny” Fisher Jr. and Kathryn Sawyer Fisher of Walpole and her only sibling Thomas A. Fisher of New York City.
Linda and her dear friend Ann Marie Harootunian jointly conducted an exercise class of senior ladies for over 40 years. She had great concern and empathy for all the class members and shared in their joys and sorrows.
Linda was a lover of small animals, both domestic and those in the wild. She had great joy in observing the wide variety of birds that flocked to her feeders during all seasons of the year.
Linda’s fondness and care for plants was evidenced by the lush foliage that occupied special places throughout her home. Her green thumb carried to her outside flower beds filled with lilies, iris, peonies and other flowers and blooming shrubs.
She will be sadly missed by her many friends and family members. We will cherish the many wonderful memories created together.
