Linda Uhls Obituary

Published by Legacy from Jul. 19 to Jul. 22, 2025.
Linda Uhls (Vance), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 77. Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Curtis Uhls, her loving mother, Lucille Vance (Mayberger), her cherished children, Dawn (Joseph) Montano, James (Deborah), and Jeff (Natalie), as well as her treasured grandchildren, Joey, Jack, and Jenna Montano. She was predeceased by her father, Charles Vance. Linda brought warmth, kindness, and generosity to everyone she met. She was known for her open heart and welcoming spirit where she always made people feel at home. Her cooking and cleaning were legendary, but it was her warmth, generosity, and love for her family that truly defined her. She took immense pride in caring for her loved ones and was happiest when surrounded by family, sharing stories, meals, and love. Her kindness, warmth, and generosity will be deeply missed, but the memories of her love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A private memorial gathering will be held for Linda with her family. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Linda's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be most appreciated, as it was a charity very close to her heart.
