Linda Lou Vaughn of Franklin, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29th, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on Thursday, January 13th, 1949, in Scottsville, KY, Linda lived a life full of love, dedication, and joy, being fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Linda was a devoted partner, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her beloved companion of 43 years, Larry Finn. Together, they nurtured a loving family, including her six children: Danny Vaughn of Portland, TN; Terry Vaughn and his wife Melinda of Franklin, KY; Tina Vaughn of Franklin, KY; Tammy Vaughn and her husband Tommy of Franklin, KY; "Lil" Larry Finn of Franklin, KY; and Melissa Ranburger and her husband Michael of Franklin, KY.

Linda's legacy extends to her 14 grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart: Amy Ross, Terry Vaughn, Jr., Josh Vaughn, Amber Hall, Nathaniel Vaughn, Tiffany Link, Samantha Vaughn, Aliyah Finn, Alana Ranburger, Kannon Finn, Whitney Sullivan, Alexis Ranburger, Dillon Finn and Derek Sullivan. Her family continues to grow with 24 great-grandchildren, each a testament to the love and warmth she brought into the world.

Linda is also survived by her six siblings, Wanda Hale, Peggy Bilbrey, Debbie Chandler, Penny Johnson, Louise Chandler, and Paul McCoy, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Minnie (Eaton) McCoy, a daughter, Martha Vaughn, a grandson, Danny Vaughn, Jr., and a brother, James McCoy.

A lifelong farmer, Linda worked alongside Carol Barker and her son Terry Vaughn, cultivating not only crops but also a deep sense of family. She was passionate about spending time with her family, indulging in her favorite soap operas, westerns, and wrestling shows, as well as tending to her garden.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory in Franklin, KY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and again on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, from 6:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. Pallbearers will include Terry Vaughn, Jr., Nathaniel Vaughn, Paul McCoy, Terry Bilbrey, Roy McCoy, and Mark Hicks, with honorary pallbearers Tina Vaughn, Tammy Vaughn, Melissa Ranburger, Trenton Hicks, and Landon Davenport.
