Loretta Faye Vaughn a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 78 in Moore. Oklahoma.

Loretta was born on October 29, 1947, in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Zeffie Ray Vernon and Viola Elizabeth (Collins) Vernon.

She was a woman who found joy in life's simple and beautiful moments. She had a deep love for gardening, where she spent countless hours tending to her flowers and creating spaces full of color and life. Her creativity extended beyond the garden into painting, where she expressed her warmth and perspective through art.

She had a wonderful sense of humor and a special fondness for funny movies, always ready to share a laugh and brighten the room. In the kitchen, she found another way to care for those she loved, preparing meals that brought family and friends together and creating lasting memories around the table.

Above all, she cherished her family. Her love was constant, generous, and unwavering. She found her greatest happiness in the time spent with those closest to her, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her three children Craig Vaughn, Kirsten Vaughn, and Christian Vaughn and countless other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Zeffie and Viola Vernon; and her husband Doyce Vaughn.

Her legacy lives on in the gardens she nurtured, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely.
