Linda Elizabeth Wheeler of Matthews, NC., formally of Richland, GA died Monday, August 12, 2024 at her brothers’ residence. A private graveside service will at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate
Linda was born in Richland, GA., to the late Joel and Dorothy Wheeler, Sr. She was a transportation specialist and worked for MACK Trucks for thirty years. Later, she went on to work for Family Dollar Corporate’s Transportation division for twelve years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dawson. She loved collie dogs, her faithful companion was Dawson, a collie that was a decedent of Lassie.
Survivors include her brothers, Joel Wheeler, Jr. and Jerry Wheeler and a special friend Mary Newell.
Those desiring may make donation in memory of Linda to the Collie Rescue of the Carolinas P.O. Box 1313, Kernersville, NC 27285 .
