Linda Lee Ann Wicklund
Words cannot express our sadness as we announce the unexpected passing of Linda Lee Ann Wicklund on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She departed this world just as she lived in it - naturally and on her own terms.
Born with a heart as large as her personality, Linda was the spirit of the towing industry, having been the engine behind Ray Weber Towing since her toddling days. She didn't just tow cars; she hauled in a lifetime of friendships and memories. In 2005, she and her husband started LT's Western Towing, proving that you can take the girl out of the towing company, but you can't take the towing out of the girl. Her green thumb was no secret to those who knew her, with her days at Stamper's Greenhouse spent nurturing plants and flowers with the same care she gave to everything in her life.
Linda's husband of 46 years, Terry, her comrades-in-arms through every breakdown and victory, survives her, along with their three sons - Jason, Shaun, and Joel - who, along with their significant others, will miss her more than words can say. Her love will continue to ripple through the laughter of her twelve grandchildren - Cassy, Vinny, Clayton, Kenzie, Emily, Angelina, Katie, Peyton, Alex, Austin, Ashley, and Axel - and three great-grandchildren - Adrianna, Jameson, and Waylon - who inherited her zest for life. She was preceded in departure by her father, Raymond Weber, who taught her the ropes of towing and life, and her cherished monkey, Mindy, who surely awaited her with a mischievous grin on the other side.
This was a woman who could outpace anyone in Solitaire, outbake anyone in the kitchen, and out care anyone when it came to animals. Linda's cooking was the stuff of legends, full of secret recipes she never shared - leaving her family still trying to recreate the magic she took with her. She was the embodiment of spirit, passion, and wisdom, with a sprinkle of mischief for good measure.
To have known Linda was to know life in its most exuberant form. She left us with memories that will forever prompt smiles and stories that will be told with a twinkle in the eye, just as she would have wanted. Linda Lee Ann Wicklund, a devoted wife, mother, nana, aunt, and friend, a towing powerhouse, a nurturing gardener, an animal whisperer, and a baking enthusiast, has left the stage of life, but her encore will resonate in our hearts forever.
In keeping with Linda's wishes, there will be no funeral. Instead, we will gather in April 2026 to celebrate her first heavenly birthday. Further details for this celebration of life will be shared here as the date approaches.
Until then, as Linda would say, "Go brush your teeth!"
