Linda Karen Wilkison, age 76, of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The daughter of Louis Monroe Gray and Anna Mae (Bardwell) Gray was born April 17, 1948 in Gladewater, Texas. She grew up in Texas, also living a few years in Alaska, before making the move to Arkansas 22 years ago. She was a proud Texan, and Texas was always home.
She was a hard worker, spending many years working as a real estate property manager.
Linda enjoyed reading. She loved animals, and she loved to laugh. She enjoyed listening to country music, especially Willie Nelson, having met him several times before he became famous.
Linda loved her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She was very proud of her son. There was no end to her dedication as a mother. She was fiercely protective of her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Gray; her mother, Anna Bardwell; and furbaby, Sunny.
Linda is survived by her husband of 26 years, Chuck Wilkison of Western Grove; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Stephanie Gray of Woodway, TX; two brothers, George Shadoin and Tommy Shadoin; two sisters, Anita Derkowski and Sharon Rychetsky; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; her furbaby Munchkin; and many dear friends who loved her and will miss her.
A Graveside service will be held at Western Grove Cemetery at 10 AM, Tuesday, March 25 (2025) under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Rev. Dorvin Ricketts will officiate.
