Linda Dianne (Granny) Woods, passed away on February 25, 2024 in Monahans, Texas with her family by her side. Dianne was born in Liberal Kansas, to Thomas and Edith Woods on April 21, 1949.
Dianne graduated from Hobbs high School and attended nursing school at Odessa College. She became a nurse for over 30 years, a profession she loved and put her heart into. After retiring from nursing, she went to work at a local pharmacy, where she met no strangers. She loved her family and her church family. Her grandkids and great grandkids held a special place in her heart. Everyone knew her as Granny and if she found out you were expecting she would spend hours crocheting a blanket for you, one of her favorite past times.
Dianne is preceded in death by, Thomas Woods her Father, Edith Woods her Mother, Glen Woods Brother, Richard Woods Brother, Cindy Woods Sister, Donald Woods Brother
Dianne is survived by three sons; Jerry Caldwell and wife Tayna, Timmy Caldwell and wife Imelda, Jeff Caldwell and wife Megan. One brother Jimmy Lance, one nephew Kelly Caldwell and one niece Sue Hardaway. Dianne had a love for her 13 Grandchildren. Zack Caldwell, Courtney Boble, Andrea Sanchez, Ty Caldwell, Tyler Flores, Josh Caldwell, Braden Caldwell, Hanna Grimes, Sarah Flores, lan Caldwell, Daniel Fores, Lash Caldwell and Zoey Caldwell. She also loved all her 15 Great Grandkids. Bryson, Joylee, JT, Sutton, Elle, Noah, Joslynn, Marilyn, Lily, Cody, Mason, Asher, Scarlett and 2 little ones on the way.
The family of Dianne Woods wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all our family and friends. There are not enough words to Express our heartfelt thanks for the sympathy, love and support you all have extended to our family during this time of loss. A special thank you to the Doctors and the nurses that took care of her.
A memorial service for Linda Woods will be held on Wednesday February 28 at First Baptist Church of Monahans at 10:00am.
