Funeral services for Linda Ellen Yarbrough, age 79, of Roanoke, will be held on Wednesday, November 26th, at 11:00 AM at Roanoke First Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Hannah and Mark Rector officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 AM on Wednesday.

Mrs. Yarbrough passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at her daughter's home.

Survivors include: her husband of 61 years, Tommy Yarbrough; three daughters, Autumn McBrayer (Donald) of Birmingham, Tracey Rector (Al) of Birmingham and Caryn Donahoo (Chad) of Childersburg; 7 grandchildren, Ben McBrayer (Frannie), Hannah Andrews (Jon), Tommy Rector (Leanna), Mark Rector (Anne), Erin McEwen (Luke), Katie Mims (Caleb) and Will Donahoo (Ashley); and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ben McBrayer, Tommy Rector, Mark Rector, Will Donahoo, Jon Andrews, Caleb Mims and Luke McEwen.

Mrs. Yarbrough was born on September 19, 1946, the daughter of Rev. Olin E. and Pansie "Bobbie" Mildred Adamson Sheppard. She was a graduate of Handley High School's class of 1964. Mrs. Yarbrough was Christian by faith and was a faithful member of Roanoke First Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ for over 46 years. She and her husband operated Yarbrough Commercial Printing in Roanoke for over 40 years. Mrs. Yarbrough will be remembered for her loving nature; she loved her family, church and church family deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Emory Sheppard.

Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to Roanoke First Baptist Church.
