Linda Jean Yow, 62, of Cameron, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Linda was born in Alexandria, Virginia, the daughter of the late John David McNeill and Minnie Joyce McNeill. She was a passionate woman who loved her family—especially her grandkids. She loved traveling, feeding people, experiencing new cuisines, and being right.
Linda was highly creative and excellent at party planning, and together with her beloved husband—her high school sweetheart—she built their business, combining her skills in interior design, savvy bargain hunting, and negotiation. She loved the water, whether it was spending time at the beach or boating on the lake, and she will be missed more than the air in our lungs.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Alan Yow; daughter, Tanya Yow (Joe Josey); grandchildren, Ally Raper and AJ Yow Raper; brothers, Johnny McNeill and David McNeill; and her beloved dog, Mabel Jean.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
