Lindel Dick Obituary
Lindel Parker "Doc" Dick, 69, of Science Hill, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at his residence.
Lindel was born February 26, 1954 to the late George Thomas and Ruth Mae Dick in Pulaski County, Kentucky. He enjoyed working in his yard and on classic cars, especially Mustangs. He also loved keeping small projects going, whether it be around his house, in the yard, or on his cars. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church for over 20 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Jami & (Andrew) Dale, and Kelli Dick; a special partner of 19 years, Lisa Haynes; seven siblings, Joe & (Mildred) Burton, Nyoka Gholson, Loretta Burton, Thomas & (Becky) Dick, Randy & (Donna) Dick, Ralph & (Robyn) Dick, and Madonna & (Dan) Ware. Lindel is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as his granddog and cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth & George Dick, and Bob & Margaret Hurst.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023 in the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home at 4:00 PM with Bro. Rick Shannon officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 2:00 PM until time for services at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy in the form of donations to Shriners Hospital for Children.
