Lindell Sue Fleitz, born on August 31, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in her beloved city. Throughout her life, Lindell was known for her unwavering devotion as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She radiated a warmth that was felt by everyone who knew her. Though small in stature, she possessed an incredible strength which became a guiding light for her family and friends.
For many years, Lindell dedicated herself to the noble profession of teaching. Her passion for education transformed the lives of countless children, instilling in them a love for learning. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with her students, nurturing their intellect and creativity while fostering a supportive atmosphere in her classroom.
Lindell leaves behind her cherished daughter, Sara Fleitz, who was a constant source of pride and joy in her life. The legacy of love continues through her granddaughters, Elizabeth Ann Fleitz and Olivia Lynn Fleitz, who brought infinite smiles to her heart. Lindell delighted in all of their achievements and cherished each moment spent together. She also held a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews, who knew her as more than just an aunt, but as a confidante and friend.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Fleitz, and her son, Solomon Fleitz, both of whom were central figures in her life. Lindell is now reunited with her parents, Bo and Betty Shreve, and her sister, Samara Shreve, creating an everlasting bond that transcends time.
As we remember Lindell Sue Fleitz, we honor a bright spirit who devoted her life to family, education, and the countless lives she touched. Her laughter, kindness, and indomitable spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved her.
