Susan Fleitz Obituary
Susan M. "Sue" Fleitz, age 66, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at home with loving family by her side. She was born on October 10, 1955 in Toledo. Sue graduated from Sylvania High School in 1973. She worked at USPS for over 30 years before retiring as a manager. Sue was an avid gardener, loved being outdoors, in the water anywhere. She was an excellent cook and baker, making food for an army. Sue loved traveling with her husband especially to Florida. She was a people person and the true matriarch of her family. Sue's smile, spirit, huge heart and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Susan's memory are her loving husband of almost 27 years, Michael Fleitz; daughters, Chelsea Woodard and Taylor Fleitz; grandchildren, Ryder, Arabella, Junior, and Aria; mother-in-law, Carol Fleitz; a host of nieces, nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews; and loving dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hawk and Mary and Leon Harvey; siblings, Carol Hawk and Kenneth Hawk; and nephews, Kenneth and Anthony; and father-in-law, Charles Fleitz.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Toledo Clinic Oncology Department or the Cleveland Clinic.

Oh Suzie Q. We go all the way back to Midtown. No matter where you worked you were always bubbly and kind... and some of those offices could take that out of many people. You were a bright spot in the story of my life and countless others. Thank you for being you. I am honored to call you friend. Fly high, and we will have margaritas again someday. Mike and girls, I know this leaves a huge hole in your lives now but remember how much fuller your lives have been because of her. She loved you all so much.
