Lindsay Ryan Larson

Lindsay Ryan Larson, 53, of Bishop, California passed away on October 19, 2025, in Bishop. Born on December 29, 1971, in Redondo Beach, California, Lindsay was the beloved son of Larry Larson, Mary Larson, and Libby Bowers.

Lindsay's adventurous spirit and love for the mountains defined much of his life. After moving to Running Springs, California, he discovered his lifelong passion for skiing and joined the Bear Mountain Ski Patrol in 1998. His dedication to ski safety and outdoor adventures continued when he relocated to Mammoth Lakes, where he served proudly on the Mammoth Mountain Ski Patrol from 1999 to 2012. Lindsay's enthusiasm for the slopes was matched only by his love of riding motorcycles.

In 2001 Lindsay began his 24-year career with the United States Forest Service serving as a Wildland Firefighter for over 15 years. In 2016 he moved into the position of Fleet Manager Inspector for the Inyo National Forest, where he took great pride in maintaining the vehicles and equipment that kept the forest running smoothly. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, dependable spirit, and his sense of humor that brightened the lives of family, friends, and colleagues alike.

He is survived by his Father Larry Larson, Stepmother Mary Larson, Mother Libby Bowers, brothers Lance and Jeff, sister Kirsten, daughters Lauren (Larson) Snow, Sierra Renee (Larson) Kuhn, Kylie and Hannah James.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Bishop.
