Lindsay Prieskorn Obituary

Visit the Legacy Remembers website to view the full obituary.
Lindsay Prieskorn, beloved wife, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 44 after putting up a courageous fight with her illness. Born on August 25, 1981 in Mason City, Iowa, Lindsay graduated from Mason City High School and later earned an Associate's Degree from North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC). In 2011, she took a bold step by purchasing her family business, Johnson Sanitary Products, which she operated until its closing in 2017, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her family's legacy.

Lindsay resided in Forney, Texas, where she embraced her role as a devoted homemaker and dog mom to Daisy and Vinnie, cherishing the time spent with her family, friends, and pets. She was passionate about JDRF, shelter animals, and Iowa Hawkeye Football. She would have greatly appreciated any memorials be donated JDRF of North Iowa or to the Humane Society of North Iowa in her name.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jon Prieskorn; her mother, Donna Johnson; her brothers, Eric (Susan) Johnson, Sean (Heather) Johnson; nephews Conner, Quinn, and Riley Johnson; and stepdaughter Mariah (Jordan, Zeke, and Jocelyn). Lindsay's warmth, generosity, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lindsay was preceded in death by her father, Michael Johnson.

Private burial services attended by family and close friends will be on Saturday, November 8, at Elmwood-St Joseph Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 Noon, at the Loyal Order of Moose 1328, 22 4th St NW, Mason City, IA 50401. Casual dress is welcome.
