Lionel Shegog Obituary
Once in a lifetime, God brings someone across our path that makes Jesus shine brighter. With a habit of prayer, Lionel was known as a loving husband, father, brother, singer, and a complete foodie (except vegetables). He loved listening to music and enjoyed spending time on the water. He was a long-time member of the Mosaic Church in Stewart County. He prayed for everyone he met and touched more lives than he will ever know.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving guardians, Willie and Ella Maye Shegog; brothers, Odel and Tommy. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Donna Shegog; son, Daniel (Brandi) Shegog; God daughter, Sharmayne Crockett; sister, Anette; brother, David (Sherrie); grandchildren: Joseph, Andrew, and Braxton Shegog; and many nieces, nephews, and more loving family members.
A memorial service will be held on June 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Mosaic Church in Stewart County.
