Lisa Suzanne Crowley Counts, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, went to be with Jesus on May 19, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love, leadership, and laughter. Born on August 20, 1962, in Henrietta, Texas, to Herschel and Carolyn Crowley, Lisa spent her early childhood in Henrietta before moving to Euless, Texas, where she graduated from Trinity High School with a degree in Cosmetology.
From a young age, Lisa's natural charisma and leadership qualities shone through-traits her childhood friends fondly recall, a hint of bossiness that only made her more endearing. Her passion for hairstyling became a lifelong career spanning over 42 years. Whether behind the chair or in her role as National Director of Operations, Lisa made an indelible mark on the hair industry. She was a mentor to many, a trusted colleague, and a proud recipient of numerous prestigious awards honoring her exceptional talent. Her influence extended well beyond her clients and colleagues, earning her a respected and admired place in the broader hair community.
Lisa was much more than her career. She was the vibrant heart of every gathering-the one you could always count on to take charge with grace, humor, and unwavering confidence. Her smile lit up rooms, and her generous spirit knew no bounds. She gave selflessly, always ready to help anyone in need, and her love for her family and friends was limitless.
Above all, Lisa was devoted to her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Christopher Counts; her parents, Herschel and Carolyn Crowley; her four children and their spouses: Brandon Johns, Cassie and Erik Faria, Mason and Naomi Forrester, and Harley and Victoria Forrester. She also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren: Emma and Irie Johns, Isaac, Ethan and Eli Castillo, Layla Faria, and Ruby Forrester.
Lisa is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Perry Stother, and their children: Joshua, Matthew, Evelyn, and Marissa.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Cliff and June Parker, and Ruby and John Crowley, as well as her beloved dog, Billy.
Lisa Suzanne Crowley Counts will be remembered for her boundless love, infectious joy, and the powerful impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those she inspired throughout her remarkable life.
