Lisa Marie Cross

Lisa Marie Cross, 42, passed away on March 2, 2026, in Garden City. Lisa Cross was born on April 20, 1983 in Dodge City, daughter of Laura Jean Cross.

Lisa loved being a mom, it was her greatest joy and the role she cherished most in the world. She found happiness outdoors, whether spending time at the park or going on long walks. She enjoyed swimming and listening to music, and her outgoing personality made her a joy to be around. Her most striking feature was her ocean-blue eyes, which reflected both warmth and strength. Above all else, Lisa was a fighter.

She is survived by her children, Kennedy and Shiloh Mariche of Jetmore; siblings, Jessica (Chad) Hockenbury of Springtown, TX, Joseph Hamilton of Easton, Tonya Helin of Dodge City, Heather (Tim) Schawe of Dodge City, Xavier Lantz of Dodge City, Ashlee Lantz of Colorado, and Bryton (Elizabeth) Lantz of Minneola; and her mom, Renee Lantz of Dodge City. She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Jean Cross; sister, Ashton M. Kough; grandmother, Geraldine Brown; aunt, Julia Cross; uncle, Ed Cross; and dad, Randy Lantz.

Memorial Service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel of Dodge City on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 10:00AM with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.
