Lisa Curran Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mackey Funeral Home - Middleton on Dec. 12, 2025.
Lisa Marie (Pellicelli) Curran, a beacon of love and laughter, departed this world on December 9, 2025, at the age of 61, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 2, 1964, in Lynn, Massachusetts, to the late John Pellicelli and Dorothy (Trask) Demmons. Lisa carried the legacy of her parents' kindness and resilience throughout her life. She was also preceded in death by her beloved partner, David Jaworski, and her younger brother, Edward Pellicelli.

Lisa's love for her family was boundless. She is survived by her daughters, Candi King and her husband Jared, as well as Elizabeth Morse and her fiancé Austin Wade. Her light will forever shine in her grandchildren, Peter Morse and Runa Wade. Lisa's sister, Deborah (Pellicelli) Price, and her partner Edward Meunier will hold dear the memories of their times together.

A graduate of Masconomet in 1982, Lisa's professional journey included 20+ years' operating N&J Donut Shop in Middleton, MA, where her friendly demeanor and sense of humor brightened the days of customers and colleagues alike. After saddening Middleton with the close of N&Js, she later transitioned into retail, working at Bob's Store in Middleton and Goodwill in Seabrook, NH.
She was an avid reader, often found with her kindle in hand and listening to classic rock. But nothing compared to the time she spent with her grandchildren, whom she loved spoiling at every opportunity. Lisa's legacy is one of love, laughter, and friendship. Those who knew her will remember her for her loving heart, her infectious humor, and her friendly nature that made strangers feel like old friends. She had the rare ability to light up a room with her smile and leave a lasting impression with her wit.
As we bid farewell to Lisa, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a spirit that will forever be in the hearts of those she touched. Join us in celebration Friday, December 19, 2025, at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St. (RT114), Middleton, MA from 3 pm to 6 pm. For online condolences please visit www.mackeyfuneralhome.com.
