Lisa Dame Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Peel Funeral Home - Bonifay on Mar. 13, 2026.
Lisa Dame, beloved mother, sister, Nana, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025. Born on July 21, 1952, in Panama City, Florida, Lisa lived a life filled with love, strength, and an unstoppable drive to make a difference.

Lisa had a voice made for music and a soul made for the ocean. She loved country music and spent her years singing, smiling, and stealing hearts. Salty air and the sound of waves were her refuge. She found peace at the beach, joy in a favorite song, and beauty in the little things.

A proud member of AMVETS Post 47, Lisa was deeply passionate about supporting veterans and advocating for those who served. Her dedication to service members was only matched by her compassion. When she wasn't advocating for

Veterans, she was spoiling her pup, Mitsy…..and never turned away a hungry kitty (or 3).

Ambitious and unshakably determined, Lisa never gave up on the people she loved. Even when life challenged her, she held her chin high, painted her nails, and found a way to keep going.Lisa lived boldly, never went anywhere without her lipstick and hair done just right. She gave the kind of hugs that made you feel truly held. She never let go of your hand first-one of the many ways she made sure you felt seen and loved.

She had the heart of an entrepreneur and the confidence to chase any dream she set her sights on. Whether it was opening her own restaurant or rallying a community organization, Lisa pursued her passions with boldness and determination. Nothing could stop her once she had a vision-and she inspired others to believe in themselves, too.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa Santos, her son Brandon Dame, her sister Connie Gore, her grandchildren Brittany Garcia, Emily Jones, Kennedy Dame, and her five great-grandchildren.

Lisa's warmth, strength, and generous heart will live on in those she touched. Details for a memorial service will be shared soon.

Graveside services will be held Saturday 9:00 AM May 10, 2025, in the Old Southport Cemetery in Southport, Florida.
