Lisa Ann Davis, age 56, of North Carolina, passed away surrounded by the deep love of her family and friends. A remarkable woman full of grace, loyalty, and quiet strength, Lisa left this world having touched countless lives with her kindness, humility, and unwavering heart.
Born the beloved only child of the late Geraldine Miller Ennis and JW Ennis, Lisa was cherished from the very beginning. After the passing of her parents, she was lovingly welcomed into our family, where she quickly became more than a friend—she became a daughter, a sister, and a soul tie that stitched generations together.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Davis, in 2021—a love that was genuine, enduring, and deeply rooted in faith and friendship. Even after his passing, Lisa remained deeply connected to his family, continuing to be the heartbeat of a sisterhood that spanned many names and places.
Lisa is survived by her devoted aunt Ann Mercer of Clayton, NC, and her two uncles: Ralph Miller of Stedman, NC, and Charles Kennedy of Kennesaw, GA. She is also survived by her loving “Ma,” Betty Jean Davis, and her seven sisters-in-love, Carol Collins of Grays Creek, NC, Debbie Pait of Grays Creek, NC, Ellen of Fayetteville, NC, Sharon Lutes of Tennessee, Bettie Wall of Swansboro, NC, Faye Thompson of Tennessee and Angie of Eastover, NC and her brother in-law, Billy Wayne Davis. Lisa is also survived by her three bonus children, whom she loved dearly, Joey Garner of Fayetteville, NC, Ronnie Garner of Fayetteville, NC and Kayla Davis of Fayetteville, NC
Though Lisa was born an only child, she left this life with a very large family who claimed her not only in name, but in heart.
Lisa found tremendous joy in her work family at U-TECK, where she was not just a colleague but a confidant and an anchor. Her professionalism, quiet determination, and willingness to help with anything made her irreplaceable. It was through her work that she met two of her closest companions, Olly and Carl Little, who stood with her through life’s brightest days and darkest storms. Their loyalty and friendship are a testament to the kind of love Lisa inspired in others.
Lisa was the kind of woman who was always ready to roll up her sleeves and help—whether it was organizing, supporting, or simply standing by someone in need. She never asked for praise; she gave love freely and with intention. Her life was a tapestry of service, laughter, good food, heartfelt conversations, and deep connections.
A great lady, a devoted wife, a beloved sister, a treasured daughter, and a fierce friend—Lisa Ann Davis leaves behind a legacy of compassion, community, and quiet courage. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
